Ballater Golf Club, founded in 1892 on land owned by the Laird of Invercauld, expanded from nine to eighteen holes in 1905. This medium-length heathland course sits within a circle of hills overlooking Royal Deeside, with several holes running alongside the River Dee and offering views toward the Cairngorms. Visitors are welcomed with competitive green fees and group packages; the recently refurbished clubhouse provides dining and a private lounge for events.
