About the course

Aboyne, founded in 1883, is a parkland course set in highland surroundings beside a loch, extended to eighteen holes by 1908 with Archie Simpson's assistance. The layout remained largely unchanged until Martin Hawtree's 1990 redesign, and the club has hosted a continuous 36-hole Open tournament since 1948.
