About the course

Founded in 1892 on land owned by the Laird of Invercauld, Ballater expanded from nine holes to its current 18-hole layout in 1905. The medium-length heathland course sits amid rolling hills on Royal Deeside, with several holes bordering the River Dee and some parkland characteristics away from the water; it offers a warm welcome to visitors and holds the patronage of King Charles III.
