This Cookie Policy explains how Work Less Group Ltd ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on Work Less Golf More, and how you can manage them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, keep the site secure, and understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, which work in a comparable way. In this policy we refer to all of these as "cookies".
2. The cookies we use
We group cookies into the categories below.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are needed for the Service to work, for example to sign you in securely, keep your session, protect against cross-site request forgery, and remember your light/dark theme. The Service cannot function properly without them, so they do not require consent.
Analytics cookies
We use these to understand how visitors use the Service so we can improve it, for example which pages are popular. We use Google Analytics for this. These cookies are only set with your consent.
Payment cookies
When you subscribe, our payment provider Stripe sets cookies to process the payment securely and to help detect and prevent fraud. These are used as part of providing the checkout and are strictly necessary when you are paying.
Maps
Course locations are shown two ways. Satellite thumbnails are static images from Google. They set no cookies on your device, so they are treated as functional and always load (this is why declining cookies does not remove the course imagery). The interactive map (the pan-and-zoom Google map on a club page, and the map view on search) uses the Google Maps JavaScript API, which does set cookies, so it only loads once you consent to the "Interactive map" category. None of this uses your location; the maps are centred on the course.

4. Your choices
We ask for your consent to non-essential cookies (Maps and analytics) before setting them. Nothing non-essential loads until you choose. Reject is as easy as accept, nothing is pre-selected, and you can change your mind at any time using the button below or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the Service needs them to work.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service (such as signing in) from working. To find out how, see aboutcookies.org or your browser's help pages.
