About the course

Powfoot opened in 1903 and was redesigned by James Braid in 1923, combining links and parkland characteristics across eighteen challenging holes set among whins and gorse in Dumfriesshire. The course hosted the 2020 Scottish Girls' Open Championship and plays to a par of 71 at 6,274 yards from the championship tees.
