Lochmaben is a parkland course founded in 1926 with original holes designed by James Braid. Set beside Kirk Loch with views across its wildlife-rich waters, the course weaves through three archaeological sites of historic significance, including Robert the Bruce's castle on the second green and ancient settlement remains. Extended to 18 holes in 1995 and further refined since, it offers a blend of challenging holes and scenic vistas from an elevated position above the loch.
