Established in 1880, Dumfries & Galloway is a championship parkland course measuring 6222 yards to a par of 70. The club moved to its present Summerhill site in 1895, with the course expanded to 18 holes by 1935 under the design of Willie Fernie, the 1883 Open Champion and the club's first professional. The venue hosts regular competitions and welcomes visitors.
