One of Scotland's oldest links, Elie has challenged golfers since at least the 1500s and remains a widely regarded classic of the game. Playing at just over 6,200 yards across rolling fairways and revetted bunkers, the course rewards precision and imagination in a coastal setting that sweeps across the Firth of Forth, with history woven through every hole from medieval chapel ruins to the favourite of five-time Open Champion James Braid.
