Downfield Golf Club is a championship parkland course set among majestic woodland in Dundee. Designed by James Braid and opened in the 1930s, it has hosted major qualifying events including the inaugural Scottish Open in 1972 and final qualifying for The Open Championship, and continues to attract top golfers through its demanding layout.
