About the course

Founded in 1905 and designed by Ben Sayers, Broomieknowe is a parkland course in Midlothian substantially remodelled by James Braid in 1932 and further reconstructed after 1992 when the A7 bypass claimed part of the original layout. At 6,172 yards with a par of 70, the course is renowned for its quality greens and fast-draining subsoil that keeps it playable year-round, complemented by an extensively refurbished clubhouse offering dining and bar facilities.
