Founded in 1882, Troon Bentinck Ladies Golf Club is a links course club with over 300 members located adjacent to Royal Troon. The club primarily plays the Portland Course (par 75, 5,779 yards), which has hosted the Helen Holm Scottish Women's Open qualifying rounds since 1973 and the Scottish Women's Amateur Stroke Play Championship, whilst members also enjoy occasional play over Royal Troon's championship layout and access to its practice facilities.
