Founded in 1888 as the Spa gained popularity as a health resort, Strathpeffer is an upland Highland course laid out by Tom Morris with eighteen holes spanning 4,956 yards across moorland and mountain scenery. The first hole's drive features Scotland's longest drop, and the course remains renowned for its panoramic views down the Peffery valley towards the Black Isle and the Fannich hills.
