Stonehaven Golf Club, founded in 1888, occupies a clifftop setting above the North Sea near Aberdeen. The course carries distinctive historical landmarks, including a visible crater from a 1940 German bombing raid that remains playable between the opening holes, and once hosted challenges involving Open Championship winners George Duncan and James Braid.
