About the course

Rothesay Golf Club, designed by James Braid and Ben Sayers and opened in 1908, sits on elevated ground on the Isle of Bute with unparalleled panoramic views spanning the Firth of Clyde, Kyles of Bute, and the peaks of Arran. Despite its modest length of 5419 yards, the course presents a stern test to golfers of all abilities, with Eric Brown ranking its 4th hole among Europe's toughest par threes, and Walter Hagen himself declared its vistas unsurpassed anywhere in the world.
