About the course

Bute Golf Club's nine-hole Kingarth course, laid out by David Cuthbert in 1888, is the oldest on the island. Playing to 4994 yards and par 68 for two laps, it offers genuine challenge with distinctive holes including a demanding 147-yard par-3 third beside the shore and a burn to negotiate, set against the dramatic backdrop of Arran's Sleeping Warrior across the Firth of Clyde.
