About the course

This parkland course, originally designed by 1902 Open champion Alec Herd and refined by James Braid, plays across gently rolling hills lined with cherry trees. The layout features challenging par threes, strategic doglegs, and small, well-guarded greens that demand accuracy, with the elevated 460-yard par 4 16th recognised as its signature hole.
