Harrison Golf Club was founded in 1889 and occupies a prominent position at the top of Braid Hills Approach, commanding panoramic views across Edinburgh. The club has recently refurbished its bar and lounge, strengthening its social offering alongside competitive foursomes fixtures with neighbouring clubs; it gained particular recognition when it won the prestigious Dispatch Trophy in 1992 after more than a century of competing for the prize.
