About the course

Established in 1895 by Edinburgh's insurance and banking community, Duddingston is a celebrated parkland course beneath the silhouette of Arthur's Seat, originally designed by Willie Park Jr. and refined by James Braid. Now stretching 6525 yards, it has hosted competitive golf of the highest calibre, producing numerous regional champions and most notably Ronnie Shade, one of Britain's finest amateur golfers.
