About the course

Founded in 1907 on Gallow Hill, Carnwath is a parkland course playing roughly 6,000 yards to a par of 70, with three par threes clustered in the opening holes to demand accuracy from the start. Tightly bunkered and threaded by roads and a railway line, it features a celebrated stretch through holes five to eight known as Amen Corner, then concludes with a challenging run culminating in a dramatic par-five finish watched from the clubhouse.
