Alford opened as a nine-hole course in 1982 before expanding to eighteen holes in 1992. Set in the Howe of Alford with the Bennachie Range as a backdrop, this parkland course plays across level, easy-walking terrain through wooded surroundings, demanding accuracy and concentration despite its modest length.
