Whittington Heath is a heathland course that originated in 1886 before Harry Colt remodelled it to eighteen holes in 1927. A recent redesign by Jonathan Gaunt in 2022 added five new holes and rerouted others to accommodate HS2, complemented by a modern clubhouse opened in 2019; the course plays to par 71 and remains playable throughout the year.
