Established in 1907, Strathaven is a tree-lined parkland course in South Lanarkshire that began as a nine-hole layout designed by Open Champion Willie Fernie before expanding to eighteen holes in 1965 with work by John R Stutt Ltd. The club has hosted major amateur and professional championships including the British Ladies Amateur Championship and Scottish Girls' Amateur Championship, and was recognised in 2023 for its greenkeeping excellence.
