About the course

Established in 1912, Ravelston is a nine-hole parkland course designed by Open Champion James Braid on the western edge of Edinburgh. The deceptively testing layout, known for its undulating greens and strategic bunkering, rewards precise play and offers expansive views across the city to Edinburgh Castle and beyond the Firth of Forth to the Fife hills.
