Pontypool Golf Club, established in 1903, is an 18-hole moorland course situated in the hills above the town, commanding views across the Bristol Channel and the South Wales valleys. At par 69 and 5,993 yards, the course plays longer than its length suggests, offering a genuine challenge to golfers of all abilities with few easy holes.
