The home of The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers since 1891, Muirfield is a celebrated links course designed by Old Tom Morris and redesigned by Harry Colt in 1925. The distinctive layout circles outwards on the front nine and inwards on the back nine, presenting a fair and balanced test that has hosted 16 Open Championships and numerous major tournaments, producing an impressive roll of champions from Vardon to Nicklaus to Watson.
