About the course

Founded in 1906, Holywell is an inland links-type course perched 800 feet above sea level on Brynford common near the Welsh town of the same name. The limestone subsoil and natural contours create a fair and sporting challenge across 18 holes, with dramatic views to Snowdonia and the Clwydian Range; the signature 15th hole, the Quarry, navigates historic limekilns and quarries that underlie much of the course.
