Glen Golf Club occupies a historic stretch of East Lothian's East Links, where golf has been played since the 17th century, though the present 18-hole course dates from 1906 when James Braid and Ben Sayers extended the original nine holes designed by Braid four years earlier. Perched on rugged clifftops with commanding views across the Firth of Forth to Bass Rock and Tantallon Castle, the 6,275-yard par-70 layout rewards strategic play with elevated tees, concealed greens, and the wind a constant factor.
