About the course

Cruden Bay is an Old Tom Morris links course commissioned by the Great North of Scotland Railway and opened in 1899, redesigned to its current championship layout in 1926 by Tom Simpson and Herbert Fowler. Set on the east coast near Peterhead with contoured greens and panoramic views, the course has earned consistent international recognition including rankings in Golf Magazine's world top 100 and the Scottish Golf Tourism Award.
