About the course

Founded in 1786, Crail Golfing Society is one of the world's oldest golf clubs, occupying a dramatic coastal location on the easternmost edge of Fife. The society operates two links courses, Balcomie and Craighead, which have attracted world-class golfers from Nancy Lopez to Tom Lehman, all drawn by their authentic Scottish character and challenging seaside layouts. Visitors are welcomed throughout the year with full facilities, professional caddie services, and a relaxed yet prestigious clubhouse atmosphere.
