Founded in 1888 and redesigned by James Braid, Cathkin Braes is Glasgow's oldest golf course and sits just five miles from the city centre despite occupying countryside surroundings. The moorland layout measures 6,200 yards, par 71, and features tree-lined holes and a testing par-3 fifth over water; it is widely regarded as one of the best inland courses in the West of Scotland.
