About the course

Balmore is a parkland course laid out by Harry Vardon in 1907 on the grounds of Glenorchard Estate, combining a challenging design with a tranquil setting amongst mature trees and rolling countryside just seven miles north of Glasgow. The course, recently upgraded to USGA specification greens, is complemented by extensive practice facilities and a notably strong collection of specimen trees planted during the estate's 19th-century development.
